Picturesque Farm LLC

Picturesque Farm is situated on 36 acres located on the south side of Warrenton, Va. The 28 stall show barn has a heated/air conditioned lounge and bathroom, two double wash stalls with hot and cold water, and two large tack rooms. There is a huge 200' x 160' all weather sand outdoor arena with a new course of jumps, a 140' x 75' indoor arena. The horses & ponies are all privately owned show horses. The riding stable specializes in hunters with strong basics in groundwork & equitation as well as cross country schooling, trail riding and foxhunting.

In addition to teaching lessons, we show extensively in rated and local VHSA and BHSA shows, train & reschool horses and ponies, sell and provide consignment services, summer day camps and our own horse show series each summer here at the farm.


There is an annex to Picturesque Farm that is an additional 200 acres which houses "the nursery", our stallion barn, and 110 acres of trails.

Directions to the Farm:

 

From Points North/East:
Take Rt. 66 West to Rt.29 south exit towards Gainesville/Warrenton.
Take Rt.29 south approx. 17 miles (do not take 29 business).
Turn right at stop light for Rt.17/29 intersection onto Opal Road/Rt.687 (McDonalds on right).
Go 1.15 miles to left onto Lees Mill Road/Rt.651.
Go 0.2 miles to right onto Piccadilly Drive (English Meadows subdivision).
Go 0.24 miles to 5th mailbox on the left (Picturesque Farm on mailbox).
Look for green Picturesque Farm signs.
Enter at 2nd farm driveway entrance.
From points South:

 

Via I-95 North take Rt. 17 North towards Warrenton (30 miles)
At the intersection (stoplight) of Rts. 29/15Nand 17N, go straight onto Opal Road/Rt. 687
(Sheetz on left/McDonalds on right).
Go 1.15 miles to left onto Lees Mill Road/Rt.651.
Go 0.2 miles to right onto Piccadilly Drive (English Meadows subdivision).
Go 0.24 miles to 5th mailbox on the left (Picturesque Farm on mailbox).
Look for green Picturesque Farm signs.
Enter at 2nd farm driveway entrance.
